The Power of One, a non-governmental organisation, has pledged free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) application forms to 200 students in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos.
Speaking at an event organised for would-be recipients of the forms at Festival Hotel in Lagos, the convener, Omoniyi Olulade Temitope, said the objective of the programme is to motivate the youths to become better citizens and impact the community.
He said there will also be free tutorial sessions up till March, to ensure successful outing of the candidates in the exam.
Temitope, who also doubles as Councillor representing Ward B of the division, hinted that five students with the highest scores in JAMB will have the opportunity to study in Brazil and other tertiary institutions in the country.
To this effect, he said the NGO has secured a partnership with another NGO, Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA.
Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Valentine Buraimoh, lauded the NGO for flagging off the initiative.

He urged the youths to shy away from violence, drugs, and any act that will disgrace the nation.”
Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisolaoluwa Kehinde Alli-Macaulay delivered the keynote address.
