Jay Z has left his followers awestruck after deactivating his Instagram account barely 24hours after rejoining the social media platform.
The American rapper opened an account, pushed a poster for the Western, and shared a countdown for the Western’s premiere.
He shared the cover photo of the, “The Harder They Fall,” a new western movie released on Netflix which he co-produced. His profile photo was a throwback photo to his younger days.
Now that the film is out, Jay-Z’s social work may just apparently be done.
At the time of the page deactivation, the Brooklyn rapper had already amassed over 2.3 million followers.
While the account existed, Jay-Z was the only person Beyoncé followed and also the only person he followed.
Beyoncé also shared Jay-Z’s first-ever Instagram story, which was a countdown to the film’s premiere.
In a recent development, a visit to his Instagram page is met with the message, “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”
It’s not the first time he opened and promptly closed an Instagram account.
