Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu has said some politicians believe in telling lies to be relevant in society.
Shaibu said this yesterday in Benin when he represented Governor Godwin Obaseki at the commissioning of Adesuwa Police Barracks’ primary school constructed by the Benin zonal church of Christ Embassy Church of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Edo indigenes and state police command.
“I am a politician with a difference, I am a politician that sees the face of God in everything I am doing. I am not a politician that believes that one is relevant in society by telling lies and that is what we are eradicating in Edo State.
“Some people play politics with education, some persons during campaigning said they will give free education, but when they get there and see the reality, they will come to tell you it was just a promise,” he said.
