The draw takes place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday 13 December. The ceremony begins at 12:00 CET, which is 11am in the UK and Portugal.
The Champions League group stage reaches its conclusion this evening, but every English club has had the luxury of being able to look forward to the last-16 draw for at least a fortnight.
Liverpool were the first to win their group after matchday four, meaning the Reds will be seeded for the spring’s knockout stage, and a victory at AC Milan on Tuesday sealed a perfect six-from-six record.
After a campaign filled with drama, Manchester United booked their place as group winners with a win over Villarreal last month, while Manchester City joined them with victory over PSG.
Real Madrid beat Inter Milan for the Group D bragging rights on Tuesday with both teams already through, along with Sporting CP. Atletico Madrid snatched the Group B runners-up spot with a convincing win at Porto.
