Shatta Wale Reportedly Helped Burna Boy Out of Ghana Prison — Captan Claims

Ghanaian singer Captan has made a surprising claim about Nigerian music star Burna Boy, alleging that he was once assisted out of a Ghanaian police cell by his former label boss, Shatta Wale.

Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Captan said Shatta Wale personally instructed him and others to secure Burna Boy’s release after he was allegedly arrested for smoking weed.

According to him, the support did not end there, as Shatta Wale’s team also allegedly provided shelter for Burna Boy at a time when he was reportedly being pursued by unknown individuals.

“I once bailed Burna Boy out of prison in Ghana when he was arrested for smoking weed. Shatta Wale sent me and some guys to go and free him from police custody,” Captan claimed.

“There was a time we also accommodated him when some people were after his life. We helped him settle the case,” he added.

Captan further stated that his relationship with Burna Boy has since broken down following tensions involving the singer and Shatta Wale. However, he noted that reconciliation could still be possible if Burna Boy reaches out.
