National Assembly workers suspend strike The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) of the National Assembly has suspended its strike. The workers embarked on the strike action last Monday, to press home demands for payment of some allowances. At least, 1.5 million Nigerians in Italy cannot return home or get a job in the foreign country because they do not have Nigerian passports. This was disclosed by Mr George Omo-Iduhon, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Europe (NIDOE), Italy Chapter. He said more than 1.5 million registered Nigerians urgently needed the Nigerian passport. Omo-Iduhon stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday while reflecting on the activities of NIDOE in Europe. The Nigeria Police Force has announced that a computer-based test for candidates who were shortlisted in the 2020 recruitment exercise will hold on Friday and Saturday.
