The Kwara State Government has directed the reopening of schools across the state following what authorities say is a significant improvement in the security situation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Kyiv is prepared to resume talks with the United States next week on proposals aimed at ending the war with Russia. More than 120 people have been killed following a wave of coordinated suicide bombings and gun attacks across Pakistan’s restive southwestern province of Balochistan, according to the country’s military. Security officials said the attacks left 33 people dead, including 18 civilians and 15 security personnel on Saturday,  while responding forces killed at least 92 assailants. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Oyo State Command, has arrested a 28-year-old housewife over alleged human trafficking. A fully loaded 40-foot container truck has overturned at Oke Gbegun along Ishagamu Road, close to LASPOTECH in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, reportedly due to brake failure. The incident, which occurred around midnight, left the driver trapped in the truck’s tractor head.
