Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday granted former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abdulaziz Malami, his wife and son bail of ₦500 million each, with strict conditions including the submission of landed property documents and travelling papers. Andre Yarham, believed to be the UK’s youngest dementia patient, has died aged 24 after battling a rare and aggressive form of the disease. Andre, from Dereham, passed away on December 27 at a hospice, just days after Christmas. A missile has been discovered in the Zugurma, Mashegu Local Government Area of Niger State. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has resumed the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise across the country, signalling the start of the second phase of the process. The registration exercise recommenced on Monday, following the conclusion of the first phase on December 10, 2025. INEC had earlier launched online pre-registration on August 18, 2025, before rolling out physical registration at centres nationwide on August 25, 2025.
