Former Anambra State Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate, George Moghalu, has resigned his membership of the party. Moghalu disclosed this in a letter he posted on his verified X handle on Tuesday. The letter, dated January 26, 2026 and  addressed to the Chairman of Ward 1, Labour Party, Uruagu, Nnewi. In the letter, Moghalu said his decision took immediate effect. “I bring you the good wishes of my family and to formally inform you of my resignation from the Labour Party, effective today, the 26th of January, 2026,” the letter read.
