Arteta’s current deal was set to expire next summer, but talks over extending that deal are advanced, and an agreement would see him earn a huge pay hike. Chelsea are set to launch a legal complaint over Manchester City’s pursuit of former head coach Enzo Maresca, unless the Manchester club cough up some compensation.
