Dr. Adedeji Adeleke has broken his silence on the renewed paternity claims involving Afrobeats star Davido, insisting that multiple DNA tests have conclusively shown a 0.00% probability that the singer is the child’s father.
The controversy resurfaced after a teenage girl, Anu, made a fresh social media appeal urging Davido to undergo another DNA test. Davido rejected the request, stating he had already taken five DNA tests over the years—three arranged by him and two by the other party—all of which returned negative results.
Providing further details, Dr. Adeleke explained that the matter dates back to 2014, when he received a formal allegation that Davido had impregnated a woman. He said he immediately initiated a DNA test involving Davido, his cousin B-Red, and the child at a reputable hospital, with samples analysed abroad. The result showed a 0.00% chance of paternity.
Despite the outcome, Dr. Adeleke said the family remained open to further confirmation and even offered to fund additional tests and logistics, though those follow-up tests were never completed. He noted that the issue has repeatedly resurfaced online over the years.
Addressing the latest claims, Dr. Adeleke revealed that the child’s aunt contacted him to deny responsibility for the recent social media posts, alleging impersonation and distancing the family from those behind the renewed accusations. He further claimed to have evidence linking the impersonation to Kemi Olunloyo.
Dr. Adeleke said he has records of all DNA tests conducted, all confirming Davido is not the biological father. He stressed that the family acted transparently and responsibly, adding that they would have accepted the child without hesitation if science had proven otherwise.
He concluded by warning that continued spread of what he described as false claims and misinformation could lead to legal action, insisting the matter has already been conclusively settled by scientific evidence.
