“Did I Solicit Donations for Blessing CEO?” – Daddy Freeze Responds to EFCC Arrest Demands

Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze, has reacted to calls urging the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest him over his association with relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, following allegations of a fake cancer claim.

It will be recalled that Daddy Freeze hosted Blessing CEO on a Facebook Live session, during which she claimed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer at a hospital in Nigeria, although she said she was unaware of the stage of the illness.

Reacting via his Instagram page, Daddy Freeze said he initially believed her story, noting that it would be unlikely for anyone to fabricate such a serious health condition.

He added that the medical report currently circulating online—now alleged to be falsified—is the same document Blessing had earlier sent to him.

Addressing those calling for his arrest, he questioned the basis of the demand, asking whether he had at any point solicited donations on her behalf.

“I believed Blessing CEO at first because I don’t think anyone would lie about cancer—it’s a terrible disease. The report she sent me is the same one now said to be fake.

“To those asking the EFCC to arrest me for supporting her, did I collect any donations for her? I still feel she may have some form of cancer, because it’s hard to imagine someone making such a claim lightly,” he said.
