Husband Catches Wife at Lagos Hotel, Sparks Infidelity Allegations {VIDEO}

A domestic dispute turned public spectacle on Sunday when a Lagos resident, identified only as Mr. Adejanju., confronted his wife inside a popular hotel in the mainland area of the state after allegedly finding her with another man.

According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the drama began late in the afternoon when the husband entered the hotel premises and proceeded to the room where his wife had reportedly checked in earlier in the day. A crowd gathered outside the room after raised voices and shouting drew attention from guests and staff.

Onlookers said Mr. Adeyanju. forced open the door and discovered his wife, Mrs. Eni Adeyanju., in close company and a man who has not yet been publicly identified. The husband began an emotional confrontation, demanding explanations and at times raising his voice.

Security personnel intervened to separate the parties as the situation escalated. Hotel management later confirmed that the quarrel had unsettled guests and staff, prompting them to call local authorities for assistance.

Police arrived at the scene and calmed the situation, escorting all three adults out of the hotel. No serious injuries were reported, and no arrests were made at the time of the incident, according to an on-site police source. The couple is expected to make statements at a nearby police station as part of a routine report.

Social media clips of the confrontation quickly circulated online, eliciting mixed reactions from viewers. Some criticised the public nature of the dispute, while others commented on the emotional toll such situations can have on families.

Fact-check organisations have previously warned that similar viral videos may be dramatized or part of staged content rather than verified reportage, highlighting the need for caution before drawing conclusions from online posts.

Authorities are reminding members of the public that domestic disputes should be handled through peaceful and lawful channels and encouraged couples in conflict to seek counselling and mediation rather than escalating to public confrontations.
