Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has caused concern among fans and colleagues after sharing emotional messages on social media in which she revealed she is going through severe personal difficulties and accused a popular cleric, Chris Okafor, of being responsible for her distress.
In a video posted online, the actress appeared visibly shaken as she tearfully recounted what she described as a series of traumatic experiences that have deeply affected her emotional and mental state.
Ogala said she was not in a good place, citing alleged miscarriages, her arrest and detention following public accusations she made against the cleric, and painful experiences in her marriage.
She also alleged that she once returned home to find her husband’s alleged mistress and child, saying the accumulation of these events has been overwhelming for her.
“This is not okay. Nothing I have been through is okay,” she said in the video, fighting back tears.
Moments after sharing the video, the actress made another post that further alarmed her followers.
“I may not be alive for a long time. Chris Okafor has done many terrible things to me that I may not even be able to talk about. I am tired of holding on. Everything is not okay,” she wrote.
In the same message, Ogala publicly appealed to a family member identified as Emeka, asking him to reach out to her if possible.
