Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has taken a subtle swipe at her in a recent social media post.
Sharing a throwback photo from when they were together, Obasi appeared to mock the actress while extending Easter greetings, using coded and symbolic language to express his feelings.
In his post, he referenced biblical themes and music metaphors, suggesting that situations may not turn out as expected, while also encouraging prayer and resilience.
This comes amid a long-running dispute between the former couple. Obasi had previously spoken out about an ongoing custody battle, alleging that he has been denied access to his children for over a decade despite claiming they were legally married and had three children together.
He also made allegations about the circumstances surrounding their separation, including claims that Judy’s relationship with Yul Edochie began while they were still married.
In earlier appeals, Obasi had called on Nigerians for help, expressing concern over not seeing his children for years and accusing the actress of cutting him off from them.
Judy Austin, who gained widespread attention following her relationship and eventual marriage to Yul Edochie—then married to May Edochie—has yet to respond to the latest remarks.
