Actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has expressed heartfelt appreciation after being recognised by the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) for surpassing ₦1 billion at the box office with her debut film, Oversabi Aunty.
The award presentation was attended by NFVCB Director-General Shuaibu Husseini and Olori Temitope Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife.
In a post shared on Instagram, Abraham described the recognition as a significant milestone, noting that it holds special meaning coming from such a respected institution.
She expressed gratitude to her fans, known as Toyintitans, as well as her distribution partner, FilmOne Entertainment, for their unwavering support.
The actress also appreciated the presence of Olori Temitope Ogunwusi, highlighting how the film has influenced conversations around parenting and family relationships.
