Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has been hospitalised after collapsing due to extreme exhaustion.
The actress shared details of the incident on her Instagram page, revealing that she woke up feeling numb and unusually weak, describing the moment as feeling almost lifeless.
Despite her condition, Sarah said she pushed herself to visit her shop to carry out an inventory check and conduct interviews for prospective staff. It was during this outing that she suddenly slumped and was rushed to the hospital.
According to her, doctors conducted over 32 medical tests, including checks for cancer, fibroid, kidney and liver conditions, malaria and typhoid, all of which returned negative results.
Reflecting on the experience, Sarah explained that she had worked continuously throughout December without taking time off, even when her staff were away for the holidays, leaving her body severely exhausted.
She disclosed that doctors advised her to take complete bed rest, noting that her organs were fine but her body had been pushed beyond its limits.
Posting from her hospital bed, the actress expressed gratitude to God for preserving her health and said she is confident she will recover fully with proper rest.
