Peller Secures Lagos University Admission, Fires Back at Critics

Popular Nigerian TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has gained admission into a Lagos-based university where he will study Law.

The content creator announced the news in a video posted on social media on Saturday, using the opportunity to respond to long-standing criticism about his educational background.

In the video, Peller was seen entering a building with a statue of justice at the entrance, symbolising what he described as a new chapter in his life and public image.

He revealed that he has been admitted into a private university in Lagos but declined to name the institution.

“For a long time, people have mocked me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person not to attend university. Now you should all rest, because I’m back in school,” he said.

“I’m studying Law now. You can see it yourself. Nobody can intimidate me again — I know the law,” he added.

Naija News reports that Peller has frequently been targeted by online critics, some of whom have labelled him “lousy” and “uneducated.”

Earlier this month, the TikToker disclosed plans to return to school, noting that one of his motivations was to improve his spoken English.

Peller has also recently drawn attention following controversy surrounding the visit of American streamer IShowSpeed to Nigeria, after he was reportedly stopped by the streamer’s security team while attempting to meet him for a possible collaboration.
