Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has responded to her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, over claims that she and her siblings stole $40,000 from his residence.
During an Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, Regina confirmed that Ned had arrested his brother and stated that arrest warrants had been issued for all members of her family, including herself.
She questioned the validity of the allegation, pointing out that Ned reportedly does not keep large sums of money at home.
“Yes, it’s confirmed, it’s true, and it is Ned. I’ve confirmed it. There’s a warrant on everybody, including me. He claims we stole $40,000 from his house, yet he doesn’t even keep money there. So why is he making this allegation?” Daniels said.
In a related development, Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha criticized Senator Nwoko over his recent claims accusing Regina Daniels of drug use.
The senator’s media team dismissed domestic abuse allegations, describing them as a diversion from long-standing concerns about her health and behaviour. They cited independent toxicology reports that indicated the misuse of multiple substances, noting that Ned had previously encouraged Regina to seek professional help, including therapy and structured rehabilitation. The team emphasized that financial restrictions imposed by the senator were intended to curb harmful behaviour, not to punish.
Reacting to Nwoko’s statements, Onuoha condemned what she described as his ongoing online attacks and witch-hunt against Regina. She labeled his behaviour as typical of a malignant narcissist, insisting that he requires psychological intervention rather than his estranged wife.
“Ned Nwoko’s actions are unbecoming of a responsible and honourable man. If anything happens to Regina, accountability must be ensured,” Onuoha wrote on Instagram.
