Nigerian celebrity influencer Tunde Ednut has alleged that Regina Daniels’ public appearance with an alleged new boyfriend abroad prompted her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, to have her close friend, Ann, arrested.
Ednut made the claim in an Instagram post on Monday evening while addressing Nwoko regarding the arrest of Ann, who is a friend of Recall that Ann was taken into custody by Lagos State police on Monday over theft and other allegations reportedly made by the senator.
The arrest came just days after Regina was spotted in a club with a new man, sparking speculation about Nwoko’s reaction.
Responding to the arrest, Ednut urged the senator to let go of Regina and stop targeting her family. He acknowledged Nwoko’s influence but advised him to move on.
“You don’t have to keep trying to arrest her family members all the time. It’s enough. We know you are powerful and influential, but it’s okay, sir. Grandpa, at this point, you have to move on, sir,” Ednut wrote.
He continued: “DEAR NED NWOKO SIR. Pa Ned Nwoko has found another way to arrest that young girl’s brother again. Sir, it’s time to let that girl go. She doesn’t want you anymore, just leave her and her family alone.
“I know it’s that picture of her alleged new boyfriend’s hand on her hips that triggered this arrest, but sir, you have to find it in your heart to let that beautiful, talented young girl go. Grandpa, please, sir.
“You are a senator, sir—don’t forget you have work to do!”
