Tonto Dikeh Confirms Reconciliation With Ex-Husband Churchill After 10 Years

Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has announced that she has reconciled with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, a decade after their highly publicised separation.

Tonto and Churchill got married in 2015, but the marriage ended less than two years later amid allegations of infidelity, intense public disputes and prolonged child custody battles.

In an emotional post on her Facebook page, the actress said the reconciliation was the result of divine intervention, humility and persistent prayers, noting that what human efforts failed to fix was restored through faith and obedience to God.

Describing the reunion as a divine restoration after years of conflict, Tonto revealed that peace has finally replaced chaos following nearly ten years of bitterness, broken communication and public disputes.

According to her, the renewed relationship is anchored on forgiveness, humility and their shared love for their child. She also encouraged others going through similar struggles not to lose hope.

“We are living proof that God’s Word never fails. After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, bitterness and pain, God stepped in,” she wrote.

“What seemed impossible and beyond repair was touched by mercy. Chaos has given way to peace, and respect has returned where anger once thrived. What human strength could not resolve, God healed through salvation, humility and the sincere prayers of a child.”

Tonto further stated that the reconciliation was not achieved by human effort but by the Spirit of God, noting that pride and stubbornness gave way to understanding and love.

She expressed gratitude to Churchill for choosing peace and yielding to God’s will, adding that obedience to God always leads to restoration, even after a long and painful journey.

The actress also encouraged those facing difficult situations to remain hopeful, stressing that God has not abandoned them and that their stories are not over.

“Keep praying, keep choosing love and keep trusting God, even when it hurts,” she advised.

Tonto concluded by praying that their restored relationship would remain grounded in God’s mercy, grace and protection, describing their reconciliation as a living testimony that God never fails.
