UPDATE : JAMB Delists 23 CBT Centres Ahead of 2026 UTME {Full List}

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has removed 23 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres from its approved list and issued warnings to 89 others after assessing their performance during the 2026 mock UTME.

The announcement was made on Friday in a statement by the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.

JAMB explained that the mock examination, designed to familiarise candidates with the computer-based system, also served as a tool to evaluate the readiness of CBT centres.

Following the review, centres that failed to meet required technical and operational standards were delisted, while others were cautioned to improve ahead of the main UTME.

The board said the decision is part of its efforts to maintain the integrity of the examination process and ensure that only fully compliant centres participate.

Among the affected centres are institutions across several states, including Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, and the Federal Capital Territory.

Additionally, one centre in Lagos—Ha-Shem Academy in Yaba—has been completely blacklisted and will no longer be used for any JAMB examinations.
