Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has cautioned that married men who engage in extramarital relationships with single women this year will face serious consequences if they do not stop.
According to Naija News, Pastor Nathaniel, speaking to a congregation in a video currently circulating online, urged married men to refrain from deceiving single women or pursuing affairs under false pretences.
The 44-year-old musician emphasized that his warning is serious, declaring that those who continue such practices “will not survive” this year.
He stated, “If you’re a married man deceiving young women, leading them on, or even sleeping with them, I place a demand on God’s grace over my life. Try it this year, and you won’t survive. Your shame will be remembered—it will be on social media. If you take a woman to a hotel and lie about it while being married, you will not come out of that hotel. Take my words seriously, even if you think I’m joking.”
Bassey also addressed women who knowingly involve themselves with married men, warning that material desires or greed will not protect them from consequences.
He added, “Ladies, if you know a man is married and still choose to pursue him for greed, attention, designer items, or other material things, you won’t survive it either.”
