Actor IK Ogbonna leads mourners as Alex Ekubo's body arrives his hometown Arochukwu ahead of his funeral (videos)

Mourners gathered in the village of Arochukwu in Abia State to mourn actor Alex Ekubo.

Family, friends, celebrities, and villagers trooped out to welcome the late actor home as his body was brought to his hometown ahead of his funeral tomorrow.
Alex’s close friend IK Ogbonna led mourners as they walked alongside the convoy carrying Alex’s body.

The body of the late actor arrived his hometown this evening and a quick stop over was made at the palace of Eze Arochukwu before heading to his family house.

Other celebrities like Ini Edo, Yomi Casual, Omoni Oboli were filmed looking sombre at the Uyo Airport as they continued their journey to Arochukwu to pay their last respects to their friend and colleague.

Mourners wore t-shirts with the face of Alex and held his photograph as they walked in a procession through the village of Arochukwu.
Alex Ekubo di£d last month at age 40 after privately battling kidney cancer.

He is survived by his wife, parents and siblings.
