Popular Nigerian TikToker and social media influencer Peller has reportedly been taken into custody by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command.
According to reports, the influencer was arrested for allegedly driving a vehicle with tinted windows and without a valid registration plate.
Fellow content creator Tunde Perry disclosed the development during a TikTok Live session on Monday, expressing concern over Peller’s continued detention.
Tunde claimed that Peller was arrested on Friday while returning from a content shoot in the Lekki area of Lagos and has remained in police custody since then.
“Peller has been in the police station since Friday. He is still there till now. That is why he has not been online,” Tunde said.
He added that although the arrest occurred in Lekki, the matter has since been transferred to Ikeja.
Peller Dismisses Pregnancy Rumours About Jarvis
Meanwhile, Peller has debunked widespread rumours suggesting that his fiancée, Jarvis, is pregnant.
Speculation intensified in recent weeks after photos and videos of Jarvis circulated online, with some social media users claiming she appeared to have a baby bump. The rumours gained further traction after the couple was seen shopping for wedding asoebi fabric.
Addressing the claims during a livestream before his reported arrest, Peller insisted that neither he nor Jarvis is ready to start a family.
He explained that his current priority is achieving greater financial success before becoming a father and attributed Jarvis’ appearance in the viral videos to the fact that she had eaten late at night.
Peller urged the public to stop spreading false pregnancy rumours, stressing that they would only embrace parenthood when they both decide the time is right.
