Nigerian juju and highlife musician, Iyun Janet Ajilore, popularly known as St Janet, has died.
The news of her passing was announced on Sunday by publisher and socialite, Otunba Femi Davies, through a post shared on his social media pages.
According to Davies, the veteran entertainer died after a brief illness.
In his tribute, he described St Janet as a renowned Nigerian juju and highlife artiste celebrated for her energetic live performances, lively stage presence, and bold, socially unfiltered party songs.
Her death marks the end of a remarkable career that earned her recognition among lovers of indigenous Nigerian music.
