Popular Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has described his decision to leave Nigeria as one of the best choices he has ever made, saying his life has become more peaceful since relocating abroad.
In an Instagram post shared on November 7, 2026, Bobrisky reflected on his decision to leave the country in November 2024, following a controversial period involving the Federal Government and allegations surrounding his six-month prison sentence for naira abuse.
According to the socialite, Nigeria had become an increasingly toxic environment, where controversies, gossip, unnecessary drama, and public confrontations seemed to be part of everyday life.
He suggested that stepping away from the constant distractions has given him an opportunity to enjoy the peace and personal freedom he believes he was missing while living in Nigeria.
Bobrisky also made it clear that he has no intention of sacrificing his newfound peace, stressing that he would rather protect his current lifestyle than return to an environment he considers emotionally draining.
His comments have once again drawn attention to the pressures of public life, particularly for celebrities who frequently find themselves at the center of controversies and public scrutiny.
While leaving Nigeria may not be an easy decision for everyone, Bobrisky’s remarks suggest that, for him, relocating was about more than changing his environment; it was about choosing peace, protecting his well-being, and moving away from the constant drama that surrounded his life.
For Bobrisky, the decision appears to have been worth it, and he is in no hurry to look back.
