A document recently shared by Senator Ned Nwoko on his 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) account has introduced new claims into the ongoing marital controversy between the lawmaker and his wife, actress Regina Daniels.
The document, said to be a written statement by a live-in nurse identified as Dora, outlines alleged incidents during her time working in the Nwoko household from July 2023. The statement is dated January 9, 2026.
According to Dora, she began noticing changes in Regina Daniels’ behaviour around September 2025. She alleged that the actress asked for help obtaining prescription-only medications and, at times, inquired about what she described as lethal dosages of drugs such as morphine and pethidine.
The nurse further claimed that on one occasion she entered Regina’s room and saw substances she described as opioids, anaesthetics and cannabis laid out on a table. She alleged that Regina emptied a ketamine injection onto a flat surface and instructed her to heat it in a microwave to create crystals.
Dora said the incident alarmed her, prompting her to report the matter to her employer instead of carrying out the request.
The statement also addressed claims of domestic abuse, with the nurse stating that she never witnessed Senator Nwoko physically assault his wife during her employment. She added that her employer neither drinks nor smokes and that disputes she observed were verbal, mainly revolving around Regina’s alleged drinking and smoking habits.
Dora emphasised that she refused to participate in any of the alleged activities, saying she neither prepared nor administered any substances, citing professional ethics and safety concerns.
The document also mentioned a friend of Regina, identified as Ann Cassie, who was allegedly involved in sourcing and mixing substances. According to the statement, Ann Cassie was recently arrested and charged with multiple offences, including allegations linked to a past illegal abortion and cyberbullying over online posts.
She was reportedly granted bail, with the cases expected to proceed in court.
