Achievers University, Owo, in Ondo State, has expelled no fewer than 15 female students over acts of indiscipline bordering on the production of s3x videos.
The affected students were reportedly found to have violated the institution’s rules and regulations by engaging in the recording and sharing of inappropriate videos.
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Bode Ayorinde, disclosed this during the university’s matriculation ceremony held on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Ayorinde warned students against behaviours that could jeopardise their academic future, stressing that the university operates a zero-tolerance policy on indiscipline.
“You place your phone in front of you, dance nak3d and tag Achievers University—I will dismiss you. Social media should be used for positive purposes,” he said.
He also recounted an incident involving a student who was close to graduation but was expelled after making comments perceived as inviting a terrorist group to the university.
“That student was refunded his N2.3 million fees and dismissed,” Ayorinde stated.
He added, “Use the money you pay here wisely—not to make s3x videos or take drugs. More than 15 female students have been dismissed for s3x video-related offences.”
According to him, students who aspire to graduate and succeed in life must avoid such conduct, noting that women are capable of leadership and greatness, not exploitation or ridicule. He also emphasised that bullying is not tolerated, adding that all students are treated equally.
Ayorinde further recalled that in 2025, the institution expelled 17 students for fraudulent practices aimed at securing examination clearance without paying tuition fees.
He also revealed that three students were dismissed for involvement in hard drug activities and encouraged students to report cases of drug abuse rather than remain silent.
The university official blamed some parents and guardians for enabling misconduct, advising them to consistently remind their wards to focus on their studies.
He concluded by stating that fighting, alcohol consumption and any form of s3xual harassment by students or staff attract strict sanctions, including expulsion.
