A video showing the aftermath of the shooting involving rapper Offset has gone viral on social media.
The artist, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus and a former member of Migos, was reportedly shot on Monday evening, April 6, near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, just outside Miami.
A representative for the 34-year-old confirmed he is currently receiving treatment in hospital, adding that he is in stable condition and under close medical supervision.
Footage from the scene shows a strong police presence, with officers securing the area and detaining two individuals as part of their initial response.
In a statement, the Seminole Police Department said it responded to an incident at the casino’s valet area shortly after 7 p.m., noting that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital.
Authorities say the situation was quickly brought under control, while investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting are ongoing.
