The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination slips.
In a statement released on Thursday, the board advised candidates to visit its official website to download and print their slips ahead of the exam. According to JAMB, the slip contains essential details such as the examination date, venue, and time, and is required for entry into the exam hall.
Candidates are expected to log on to jamb.gov.ng and select the “2026 Slip Printing” option to access their details.
The announcement follows JAMB’s dismissal of a viral message claiming the examination had been postponed, which the board described as false and misleading. Candidates were urged to ignore such misinformation.
The 2026 UTME is scheduled to take place from April 16 to April 25, 2026.
Earlier, JAMB conducted a mock examination on March 28, which experienced some technical issues across certain Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres. Out of 224,597 registered candidates, 152,586 participated in the test across 989 centres nationwide, with more than 20 centres reportedly delisted due to technical shortcomings.
The board also warned candidates to stay away from fraudsters, particularly on WhatsApp, who claim they can manipulate scores. JAMB described such practices as criminal and cautioned that anyone found guilty risks having their registration cancelled or results withheld.
