Popular Nigerian Fuji disc jockey, Kudirat Gbemisola, widely known as DJ Kulet, has revealed details about her past, disclosing that she was once involved in prostitution before rising to fame.
Speaking during a church testimony in Surulere, the DJ shared that she was well-known in the area at the time, having grown up in Lawanson. A now-viral video captured her recounting how her life has changed since embracing her faith.
Reflecting on her past, she described it as difficult and troubled, explaining that she once lived on the streets of Lagos and struggled with homelessness before eventually finding stability.
DJ Kulet said her journey improved gradually—from staying in modest accommodations to earning better income through her DJ career. She added that despite challenges, including poor living conditions at one point, her situation continued to improve over time.
According to her, she now lives comfortably and has even acquired her own home in Surulere, which she credits to her faith and perseverance. Sharing the testimony on social media, she described her transformation as a powerful example of how her life turned around.
The DJ had earlier made headlines in 2025 when she spoke about being abused by a family member.
