Popular Nigerian streamer Peller has revealed that his mother has advised him against providing financial support to his father.
He made the disclosure while reacting to an ongoing family dispute involving fellow content creator GehGeh, whose younger sister recently accused him online of neglecting his siblings despite his wealth.
Responding to the controversy, GehGeh maintained that although he is the first in his family to attain financial success, he does not yet have enough resources to lift the entire family out of poverty. He also expressed concern about becoming financially strained if he continues to shoulder all responsibilities, urging his siblings to seek employment.
Sharing his perspective during a livestream, Peller recounted his own experiences with family financial pressure, revealing that his father had previously threatened to call him out publicly.
He explained that despite giving his father significant support—including buying him a car—he continues to receive frequent requests for money.
According to Peller, his mother has repeatedly urged him to stop giving his father financial assistance, though he continues to help out of a sense of gratitude for his upbringing and education.
He also disclosed that he has made substantial efforts to support his mother financially, including setting up multiple businesses for her.
The streamer’s comments have added another dimension to the ongoing conversation about family expectations, financial responsibility, and personal boundaries among public figures.
