The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has confirmed that two of its employees were abducted in the Ogun region.
In a statement released on Monday, the company disclosed that the incident occurred on April 29, 2026, expressing deep concern over the situation.
IBEDC said its thoughts are with the affected staff and their families, adding that it is working closely with security agencies to secure their safe release. The company also noted that it is maintaining contact with the victims’ families and providing necessary support.
