Kemi Filani reported in December that the power couple, in a video posted on their YouTube page, announced they were expecting their second child. In the clips, Simi was captured showing off her protruding baby bump alongside her husband and their daughter, Deja. On his Snapchat page, Adekunle announced that he and his wife had welcomed twins. Mary J. Blige has scored a legal win after a New York court dismissed the lawsuit filed against her by longtime associate Misa Hylton. Court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop show that Blige and her legal team were granted a motion to dismiss the case Hylton filed in July 2025. The dismissal was issued “without prejudice,” meaning Hylton still has the option of pursuing sanctions or refiling the case. However, the development appears to signal the end of the dispute. Sources note that after Blige described the lawsuit as “frivolous,” Hylton took no further action, suggesting the matter may not resurface. The board of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has once again rejected Paramount’s revised takeover bid, reaffirming its preference for an existing deal with Netflix and warning shareholders that Paramount’s proposal remains “too risky.”  In a letter to shareholders on Wednesday, January 7, the WBD board described Paramount’s latest offer as “inadequate” and fraught with uncertainty, despite claims by Paramount that it had addressed key concerns raised by Warner Bros. executives. According to the board, Paramount’s bid closely resembles a leveraged buyout, relying heavily on borrowed funds to complete the transaction.
