Barcelona Lay Down Two Key Conditions for Marcus Rashford Transfer as Manchester United Respond

FC Barcelona have reportedly outlined two major conditions in their ongoing negotiations with Manchester United over the future of Marcus Rashford — and the Premier League side has already made its stance clear.

Rashford, who joined Barcelona on a season-long loan in 2025, has impressed during his time in Spain and is eager to remain at Camp Nou. The England international has contributed 13 goals and 13 assists in 45 appearances, playing a key role under manager Hansi Flick.

Despite their interest in keeping him, Barcelona are facing financial limitations. As a result, the club has proposed two options to Manchester United: either extend Rashford’s stay with a second loan deal or negotiate a reduction in the previously agreed €30 million transfer fee.

However, Manchester United are not willing to lower their asking price and are insisting that the full fee must be paid if Barcelona want to make the move permanent.

Reports also indicate that Rashford has already agreed personal terms with Barcelona and remains keen on continuing his career there, though negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing with no final agreement yet reached.
