Former Big Brother Naija star, Beauty Tukura, has reassured fans about the safety of fellow reality TV star, Ilebaye Odiniya, after a distressing video sparked widespread concern online.
Reports indicate that Ilebaye triggered panic on social media after an emotional livestream surfaced showing her visibly upset and allegedly seeking help following a reported assault.
In the viral clip, the reality star was seen crying and repeatedly calling for assistance while appearing to plead to be allowed to leave. The video also appeared to show noticeable swelling on her face.
Reacting to the situation, Beauty Tukura took to Instagram to urgently seek help from Nigerians in locating Ilebaye and tracing her whereabouts in Abuja.
“Please, who can track a number? Ilebaye isn’t reachable anymore. She was about to send her location. Please, who can help? She said she’s in Abuja. Help is on the way,” Beauty wrote.
In a later update, Beauty confirmed that Ilebaye is now safe and no longer in danger.
“She’s no longer in harm’s way. Thank God. It’s not my story to tell, but thank you everyone. Ilebaye is fine and she’ll share her story in her own time,” she stated.
The update has since brought relief to fans and supporters who had expressed concern over the viral video.
