Lionel Messi visit President Trump at the White House with Inter Miami squad
Superstar footballer, Lionel Messi, is expected to visit President Donald Trump at the White House alongside his Inter Miami teammates on Thursday, March 5.
Messi and Inter Miami traveled to Washington D.C., early Thursday for a ceremony to commemorate their 2025 MLS Cup title.
The White House confirmed Messi's visit, while a club spokesman said the entire first team is expected to visit the White House from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. ET, with a ceremony at 4 p.m.
Inter Miami will be the first MLS champion to visit Trump in both of his stints as U.S. President.
The visit will also be a first for Messi – the two-time MLS MVP, eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and reigning Argentine World Cup champion.
