Saudi Arabia’s purported oldest man, Nasser bin Radan Al Rashid Al Wadaei, has reportedly passed away at the claimed age of 142, leaving behind a large family said to include 134 children and grandchildren. No fewer than 25 underage girls working as sex workers have been rescued from a hotel in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area. The girls, in a video posted online by an indigene of the area, confessed that they were trafficked into Anambra from Ebonyi State to serve as prostitutes. Nigeria has been ranked 72nd out of 188 countries in the 2025 Government AI Readiness Index, placing it among the top-performing nations in Sub-Saharan Africa. Nigerian Beauty Tips The index, published by Oxford Insights, assessed 195 governments across 69 indicators grouped under policy capacity, governance, AI infrastructure, public sector adoption, development and diffusion, and resilience. The rankings measure how prepared governments are to deploy artificial intelligence in public service delivery. The Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, says it has disbursed N161.9 billion to 864,798 students nationwide since the launch of its student loan portal, as part of efforts to expand access to tertiary education.
