A man was allegedly caught having int£rcourse with a sheep in the Ashanti Region, Ghana, and he was publicly punished by members of his community. The man, said to be in his early 50s, was filmed being flogged on his bare back by members of his community, while others gathered to watch. A sheep, said to be the one the man engaged in unnatural c@rnal acts with, is seen being brought into the venue of the public hearing.   After flogging the man accused of engaging in bestiality, he was made to kneel while holding a concrete block above his head as his community members held a disciplinary hearing.   Watch the video below.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has cautioned Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, against pressuring citizens to defy the Monday sit-at-home protest. In a statement released by spokesperson Emma Powerful, IPOB emphasized that the protest is a peaceful and lawful act of solidarity with detained leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. A private aircraft carrying eight people crashed while attempting to take off from Bangor International Airport in the U.S. state of Maine on Sunday night. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said a Bombardier Challenger 600 came down during take-off at about 7.45pm local time. The United States has stepped up its supply of military equipment and intelligence support to Nigeria as part of a wider effort to counter Islamic State–linked militant groups across Africa.
