AAC Appoints New National Chairman As Sowore Resigns {VIDEO}
Human rights activist and 2027 presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has resigned as the National Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC).
Naija News reports that the announcement was made in a statement released by the party on Tuesday, shortly after Sowore emerged as the AAC presidential flag bearer during the party’s primary election in Abuja.
The party confirmed that Samuel Ajeigbe has now taken over as the new National Chairman.
“Omoyele Sowore has officially stepped down as the National Chairman of the African Action Congress,” the statement read.
“The party hereby welcomes Samuel Ajeigbe as the new National Chairman of our great party.”
