Mike, FNMAA, a leading industry professional and Principal of Mic Dunamis Global Concepts Limited, has been elected as the National Chairman, Models & Influencers Directorate of the Practitioners of Content Creators, Skit-makers and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN).

His emergence

marks a strategic step toward formalizing and strengthening the modelling and influencer ecosystem within one of Africa’s most dynamic creative markets.

In his acceptance statement, Don O. Mike described the role as both an honour and a responsibility, emphasizing the need for institutional structure, ethical standards, and global competitiveness.

“This is more than a leadership position—it is a mandate to build a structured, protected, and globally relevant modelling industry in Nigeria. The focus is on creating a system that works for everyone—from emerging talents to established professionals,” he said.

Nigeria’s modelling and influencer space has experienced rapid growth in recent years, driven by digital expansion, brand partnerships, and the global rise of African creatives. However, the sector continues to face challenges including lack of regulation, inconsistent compensation structures, and vulnerability to exploitation.

Under his leadership, the Directorate is expected to prioritize policy development that promotes fair compensation, professional standards, and sustainable industry practices. His agenda also includes fostering collaboration across models, actors, talents, agencies, brands, and creative industry stakeholders to build a transparent and globally competitive framework.

*As part of his broader vision, Don O. Mike also extended an open call to stakeholders across the creative ecosystem—including models, talent managers, modelling agents, actors, influencers, fashion runway models, and commercial models—to join PCCSIGN as registered members. He emphasized that inclusive participation is essential to building a unified, structured, and well-regulated industry capable of competing on the global stage.

Industry observers view this leadership transition within PCCSIGN as a critical move toward aligning Nigeria’s creative sectors with international best practices, positioning the country as a key player in the global modelling and influencer economy.

Don O. Mike, FNMAA expressed appreciation to the President of PCCSIGN, the Electoral Committee, and members of the Guild for their confidence, reaffirming his commitment to inclusive leadership and long-term industry transformation.

“The journey ahead requires unity, integrity, and a shared vision. With the collective strength of stakeholders, we can unlock the full potential of Nigeria’s creative industry and create lasting impact,” he added.
