Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for April after leading City to an unbeaten run featuring key wins against Arsenal, Chelsea and Burnley.
City edged Arsenal 2-1 in a crucial title showdown, thrashed Chelsea 3-0 and secured a 1-0 victory over Burnley to complete a perfect month. The latest recognition marks Guardiola’s 13th Manager of the Month award, placing him third on the all-time list behind Arsène Wenger with 15 and Alex Ferguson who leads with 27.
It is Guardiola’s second monthly award this season following his February success and the first time in a year that a manager has won the prize twice in one campaign since Nuno Espírito Santo achieved the feat with Nottingham Forest between 2024 and 2025.
Manchester City could also secure another accolade, with Rayan Cherki shortlisted for Goal of the Month.

In the player category, Morgan Gibbs-White was named Premier League Player of the Month after playing a major role in helping Nottingham Forest move away from the relegation zone.
The Forest captain netted four goals and recorded an assist in three matches, including a stunning 15-minute hat-trick during a 4-1 comeback win against Burnley. He also contributed a goal and an assist in Forest’s emphatic 5-0 victory over Sunderland before rounding off the month with a draw against Aston Villa.
Gibbs-White becomes only the second Nottingham Forest player to receive the award after Chris Wood.
Elsewhere, Kobbie Mainoo of Manchester United won the Creative Moment of the Month award for his brilliant solo effort in the club’s 2-1 victory over Brentford.
