Social media star Carter Efe defeated street-hop singer Portable by unanimous decision to win the celebrity boxing title at the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event in Lagos.
The fight, held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, saw Efe control proceedings from start to finish, dominating all three rounds. Judges scored the bout 27–30 in his favour, handing Portable his first defeat in celebrity boxing.
The loss also ends Portable’s run as champion, having previously beaten Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington to secure two belts. Confident ahead of the fight, Portable had vowed to claim a third title.
Efe, however, brushed aside those claims and delivered a composed performance in the ring. While Portable came out aggressively in the opening round, throwing wild punches, Efe stayed calm, absorbing the pressure and responding with precise counterattacks.
As the fight progressed, Efe grew stronger, landing cleaner combinations in the second round, while Portable struggled with accuracy. The final round followed the same pattern, with Efe firmly in control until the closing bell.
The victory crowns Carter Efe as the new celebrity boxing champion, marking a significant upset in the entertainment boxing scene.
