JAMB Releases Results of 2026 UTME Mop-Up Examination

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise conducted on June 13.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, the Board confirmed that candidates who participated in the examination can now check their results through its official result-checking platforms.

Benjamin noted that the release followed the successful completion of the mop-up exercise, which was organized to accommodate candidates who were unable to sit for the main UTME despite being biometrically verified.

According to him, JAMB will now move to the next phase of the admission process, beginning with the ranking of candidates.

He further disclosed that admission-related result printing is expected to commence before the weekend.

The Board thanked candidates and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation, stressing that the mop-up examination demonstrated its commitment to ensuring fairness for affected candidates.

The mop-up test provided a final opportunity for candidates who missed the main examination due to technical difficulties, biometric verification issues, and other disruptions experienced at some centres.

The main 2026 UTME was held between April 16 and April 25. With the mop-up results now released, candidates can proceed to check their scores and await further admission processes from JAMB.
