Justice Tsoho Approves Redeployment Of Federal High Court Judges

The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, John Terhemba Tsoho, has approved the redeployment and posting of judges across various judicial divisions nationwide.

The development follows the recent appointment of 14 new Federal High Court judges as well as the reassignment of three serving judges.

According to reports, Justice Tsoho directed all affected judges to assume duties at their new stations on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The announcement was contained in a statement dated May 8, 2026, and signed by the Court’s Director of Information, Catherine Oby Christopher.

Under the new postings, Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Onah Chigozie Sergius have been deployed to Abuja, while Lagos will receive Usoro Kuyik Uduak and Nwoye Osinachi Donatus.

Other redeployments include Hassan Dikko to Gusau, Zamfara State; Sulaiman Amida Hassan to Osogbo, Osun State; Muhammad Barau Saidu to Minna, Niger State; and Igboko Chinelo Conchita to Akure, Ondo State.

Also affected are Onuegbu Chioma Angela, who was posted to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State; Galumje Edingah to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State; Ibrahim Vera Eneabo to Gombe State; and Abubakar Musa Usman to Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

In the North-East region, Salihu Aisha Yunusa has been posted to Damaturu, Yobe State, while Shehu Umaru Adamu will serve in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Meanwhile, Ikpeme Joy Bassey has been assigned to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State; Mohammed Ibrahim Buba to Dutse, Jigawa State; and Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith to Lokoja, Kogi State.
