Popular Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has been hospitalised following a serious health challenge.
According to reports, the actor revealed the development in a post shared on his Instagram page on Monday, where he posted a photo of himself on a hospital bed and disclosed that he narrowly survived a life-threatening situation within the last 48 hours.
Expressing gratitude for his recovery, Salami said the past two days had been extremely difficult, adding that he survived only by divine intervention.
He wrote, “I survived the last 48 hours because God said yes.”
The actor also attributed his condition to the intense stress he experienced while working on Kilanko, a recently released cinema movie dedicated to the late actress Allwell Ademola.
He noted that the demanding production took a heavy toll on his health, saying the project pushed his body beyond its limits.
