The party disclosed this via its official social media platforms, noting that the meeting will begin at 2:00 pm. The decision followed approval by a two-thirds majority of NEC members, in line with provisions of the party’s constitution.

Attendance is restricted to statutory NEC members, including PDP governors, members of the National Assembly caucus, Board of Trustees members, state party chairmen, and national ex-officio members. Also expected are former National Working Committee members, past governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other key stakeholders within the party.

According to the party, the meeting will focus on reviewing critical issues affecting its structure and overall direction, while also addressing strategies to strengthen unity and internal processes ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The PDP emphasized that participation is strictly limited to recognized NEC members, reiterating its commitment to internal democracy, discipline, inclusiveness, and positioning the party for success in the upcoming elections.
