Reality TV personality Phyna has revealed that she has no plans to have children, stating that she would rather dedicate her time to caring for pets.
The former Big Brother Naija winner shared her thoughts during a recent livestream, explaining that her perspective on starting a family has shifted as she approaches her 30s. Despite being capable of having children, she said she does not feel inclined toward motherhood.
Instead, Phyna expressed a preference for raising animals such as cats and dogs, noting that they provide comfort and companionship.
The 28-year-old also reflected on why some women grow more attached to pets as they get older. According to her, this tendency often emerges in the late twenties to thirties, particularly for those who are not ready to settle down.
She added that experiences like repeated heartbreak or unsuccessful relationships can influence this shift, as some women begin to find emotional support in caring for animals during that phase of their lives.
In her words, she is simply at a stage where she would rather be “a mum to a cat and a dog” than have children.
