Nigerian disc jockey and show promoter, DJ Timmy, has publicly accused singer Timi Dakolo of failing to settle an alleged debt, issuing a fresh ultimatum over the matter.
According to DJ Timmy, in a post shared on his Instagram page on Friday, it has been one month since Dakolo reportedly appealed to him to remove his name from a public debtors’ list, yet the outstanding payment has not been made.
The show promoter warned that if the alleged debt is not settled by Monday, July 20, he would publicly disclose details of Dakolo’s alleged private affairs to his wife.
He wrote, “Today is Friday, and Wednesday made it exactly one month since you pleaded with me to archive my list, yet Timi Dakolo has still not paid what he owes us.
“If the money is not in our account by Monday, July 20, be prepared to explain your alleged affairs to your wife and your other activities in Lagos.”
Meanwhile, the development comes shortly after Timi Dakolo publicly accused presidential aide O’Tega Ogra of failing to pay him for a completed job.
Dakolo had called on Ogra via 𝕏, stating that he had fulfilled his part of the agreement but was yet to receive payment.
In response, Ogra acknowledged the public comments but said he would not engage further on the matter. He maintained that his professional record speaks for itself and warned that any attempt to personalise the issue would attract formal correction and possible professional or legal action.
